The interactive Table of Contents is constantly displayed on the left-hand side of the screen. The hierarchical system is the same as that of the printed version, and is organized according to the functional group to be synthesized.
Information regarding the volume number (Vol.), year of publication (Year) and language (a German flag is shown for documents which are in German) is also provided in the Table of Contents.
Click on the yellow folder icons to move to more detailed levels of classification within the hierarchical system. All associated entries are given below the open folder icon. To display the document in the Document View window simply click on the blue title link.
Use the arrow icons to move back up to the corresponding level of classification
A dot shows the location of the single specific hit.
The green highlighted area shows the current hit.
The numbers show how many hits are within that particular folder
The number of hits will be displayed in the Status box.
Note: All documents published after 1995 are in English (in addition to volume E 12b published in 1990). All entries in the Table of Contents are in English, including those from the German language volumes (i.e., they have been translated).
