From Stuttgart Hauptbahnhof  [Back to Top]

There are two alternative ways to get to Thieme Haus using the rail network from the main railway station: by S-Bahn or by U-Bahn.

By S-Bahn (city rail system)

Take the S4 (direction Marbach), S5 (direction Bietigheim) or S6 (direction Leonberg/Weil der Stadt) to FEUERBACH (6 minutes from Hauptbahnhof).

Take the "Ausgang Innenstadt" exit from Feuerbach station. Cross the tramline and then follow the path beside the tramline (tramline on your left hand side) which will take you to Tunnelstrasse. Cross Tunnelstrasse at traffic lights and proceed up Gernotstrasse (street facing). Turn left onto Rüdigerstrasse. Thieme Haus is located on your right hand side (5 minutes walk to Thieme Haus).

By U-Bahn (underground system)

Take the U6 (direction Gerlingen) from Stuttgart Hauptbahnhof to MAYBACHSTRASSE (10 minutes from Hauptbahnhof). From U-Bahn station take exit for "Freibad" and you will emerge in front of the Hotel Europe. Do not turn left, instead pass the hotel (on your left hand side) and continue along Siemensstrasse. Heidestrasse is accessible by foot from Siemensstrasse (to the left). Follow Heidestrasse and then turn right onto Rüdigerstrasse (5 minutes walk to Thieme Haus).
