7th Update - Software

With the seventh update, Pharmaceutical Substances Version 3.0 has been released.
The interface has seen a major overhaul and some of the many software changes are listed below:

Pharmaceutical Substances can now be searched via Thieme-connect together with other offers from Thieme, including Science of Synthesis, Thieme's E-Journals and E-Books as well as RÖMPP Online.
Version 3.0 of Pharmaceutical Substances has been upgraded with InfoChem's Fast Search Engine ICFSE. Thanks to the new search engine the performance of structure queries has been increased significantly and sophisticated searches (e.g. for R-groups) are possible now.
The new Auto Expand function dynamically suggests search results and indicates the number of hits while you type. A simple click on a term transfers the term to the search field.
Key Intermediates are highlighted in the 'Substances Referenced in Synthesis Path' table.
The Advanced Search Interface has been optimized for greater usability.
The Date of last change is given in the footer of each monograph.
