Hit List

The Hit List appears in the left hand frame of the screen, below the Status Field.

The hits from a particular search are listed alphabetically, a maximum of 15 hits is displayed at one time, and longer lists can be browsed using the Navigation Buttons or the .

The Status Field displays the total number of hits and on selecting a hit further indicates which hit is currently being viewed from the total number of hits.

How do I use the Hit List?

1. Having entered the search queries and clicking on the Search Button the Hit List will appear in the left hand frame on the screen.
2. Look through the lists of hits in succession by using the Navigation Buttons or get an alphabetically listed overview of the hits acquired by clicking on the .

1. On seeing a hit of interest simply click on the word to display the document in the right hand frame of the screen.
2. The hit being viewed appears with a red marker beside it in the Hit List. To view a further hit simply browse the Hit List again and select any further documents of interest.
