INN & Synonyms

The International Nonproprietary Names (INN) of Pharmaceutical Substances, which form the title of each monograph, are shown in the first line of the document window. All their Synonyms in use for this compound are shown in the second line. When modifiers precede the Substance Name, e.g., a-Acetyldigoxin and ß-Acetyldigoxin, this modifier is not indexed. Both Substances appear as Acetyldigoxin in the INN index.
