Search Fields

In addition to a full text search, that allows you to search all fields of an entry (with the exception of the references), for any given word or part of a word, Pharmaceutical Substances offers the chance to only search numerous specific fields of the entries, which is a powerful tool for researchers. The individual fields can be selected on the Advanced Search interface are detailed in this section:

How do I use the Search Fields?

1. In the Advanced Search Interface click on the arrow to the right of where the word 'Fulltext' appears, to reveal the drop down Menu containing all the Search Fields.
2. Scroll through the Menu and select the field of the entry you wish to search in.
3. Enter the query term into the Query Search Field.
4. Begin the search and retrieve the hits by clicking on the Search Button.
