Index Function

The Index Button at the end of each Search Query Field, available on the Advanced Search interface, may be used to access all related terms of your query from the index list. This function ensures that the terms searched for are contained within the database and immediately refines and improves the search.

How do I use the Index Function?

  1. Type the first few letters of your query in the Search Query Field and then click on the index button to generate the list of entries in your chosen text Search Field.
  2. Select from the index list the appropriate term, which is then automatically transferred to the Search Query Field.
  3. Begin the search and retrieve the hits by clicking on the Search Button in the Advanced Search interface.
