The Reference Library

From 2010 onwards the existing series of volumes will be complemented by a variety of organic synthesis specialist topic reference works. A modular approach will be used to build the Science of Synthesis Reference Library using six main topic classifications:

1) classical
2) advances
3) transformations
4) applications
5) structures
6) techniques

Science of Synthesis is organized by product topology. The Science of Synthesis Reference Library will be designed so that where possible it incorporates reaction type. Additional content will be complementary to the existing scaffold of core synthetic methodology.

The Science of Synthesis Reference Library will be developed in collaboration with Members of the Science of Synthesis Editorial Board who will help with the identification and selection of topics as well as provide guidance in relation to the scientific content and format of presentation of the product. World renowned experts will be chosen to author the contributions. The high editorial quality standards associated with Science of Synthesis will be maintained and the product will be made available in both print and online formats.
